2022 Fairfield Career Center NTHS inductees
Sixteen students from eight different area high schools have been inducted into the Fairfield Career Center chapter of the National Technical Honor Society. A ceremony for staff and families were held during school hours on Friday, September 30, 2022, to commemorate their accomplishment.
To be considered for induction into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) at Fairfield Career Center, a student must earn a 3.7 or higher grade point average and have a 97 percent attendance rate, or better, in his or her junior year with no major discipline infractions. The candidates’ teachers also evaluate students to ensure that they demonstrate the seven attributes of an NTHS member: skill, scholarship, honesty, responsibility, service, leadership, and citizenship. Once students meet these qualifications they are asked to complete an application, which includes multiple essays, which is then reviewed by staff and the NTHS advisors.
The following Fairfield Career Center students were honored in a ceremony that welcomed their families to commemorate their selection into NTHS (name, home high school, program):
Aissatou Barry (Canal Winchester, Pre-Nursing) Sarah Bodnar (Pickerington North, Pre-Nursing) Morgan Davis (Teays Valley, Animal Management) Emily Enyart (Gahanna Lincoln, Animal Management) Lainee Jackson (Reynoldsburg-Livingston, Pre-Nursing) Sandra Kome (Gahanna Lincoln, Pre-Nursing) Iromy Mendoza Lopez (Canal Winchester, Pre-Nursing) Yuritzy Mondragon Garcia (Reynoldsburg-Livingston, Pre-Nursing) Brianna Montero-Petruccelli (Reynoldsburg, Pre-Nursing) Kaci Naegele (Pickerington North, Pre-Nursing) Oluwashubomi Olubajo (Pickerington North, Pre-Dental) Cynthia Rivas Ramirez (Whitehall, Pharmacy) Carlos Sandoval (Whitehall, Automotive) Jamee Smith (Teays Valley, Pre-Dental) Massar Yade (Groveport Madison, Pharmacy) Alexis Young (Bloom-Carroll, Cosmetology)
